Luckily it was a vasospasm instead, most likely caused by the sumatriptan I took for a migraine. But in the moment, when they were cutting my clothing, I thought I was going to die.

I plan to turn these clothes into wearable reminders that my story didn’t end there.

These are the clothes they cut off of me Wednesday night. I had classic heart attack symptoms and the EKG looked like I was having one.

I’ve got new appreciation for what the 10 at the top of the pain scale represents. Not only was I unable to focus on anything but the pain, but a big part of me wanted to pass out just to stop feeling the pain.. Glad I didn’t though.
