The current situation at the University of Dundee is that we are not getting our annual pay increase and that promotion processes are paused.
At the same time the uni is refusing to rule out compulsory redundancies, it is advertising over 20 new senior management jobs for academic staff.
Thursday university of Essex staff will be taking to the picket lines to say no to cuts, no to job losses and no to the closure of the Southend campus.

The HSE has issued the University with an enforcement notice over work-related stress, citing breaches of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. The University must now improve its stress policy and risk assessments in consultation with staff and unions.
