Yes, but he lost both elections, so his legacy is pretty hollow. And he was awful with the press, to the extent that even the Guardian turned against him. It really pains me to say this as a Clash fan but he truly was rubbish at doing the actual politics.

Which is remarkable given the size and shape of their majority (admittedly exaggerated by FPP, but that’s the game and Keir’s team won it). It really baffles me how much they have abandoned the people who voted for them so quickly.

The trouble with Corbyn’s message is that it’s about solidarity “except for” certain people. Most notably the Rainbow community and the people of Ukraine.

Okay just putting it out there …Corbyn has proven time and time again he can’t win FPP elections even with heavy party machinery and even against “easy” opponents (May and Johnson).
