It’s a pair of thru hikers, yes. An impressive undertaking & looks stunning. The ‘i/we’ was interesting; can we assume to speak for anyone except ourselves in 2025? I don’t think so. To give voice one needs to really give that space over in quotes, or signpost a conversation in the text.
