Lovely afternoon up in the High Peaks today, followed by a cozy pub dinner with the non-walkers Joe, Gari and Spencer. Very wet underfoot and really really blowie on the hills, but got to checkout the Edale Cross and some crackin views with David, Max, Ivan & Andy

Oh that should help. I tried that on mine but with sand instead, and yes the lawn looked totally wrecked for about 6 weeks. Unfortunately it didn’t work as reckon the layer of clay is deeper down and solid
OMG, I trust he didn’t charge you for that blunder. It needs good drainage first, or just forget grass and go for hard landscaping instead

Great first time this year doing the London commute - all trains cancelled due to ‘person hit by a train’. Grim I know, but bloody inconvenient. Now travelling cross country for an alternative line going south. At this rate don’t think I’ll be making that 10am workshop

Very anxious morning. Taken Monty to the vet’s for some dental treatment. Poor thing was shaking like a leaf. And then they went through all the potential side affects and disclaimers. Felt physically sick when I left him, especially when they referred to heart failure 😰
