Hard to radicalize republicans? Don’t get me started, cough “Jan6” cough. This rhetoric isn’t helpful, especially when we know nothing of the shooter.

Right? Fandom is just weird these days, supercritical. Hopefully, they do make the sequel so they can get the right direction and better writing, the characters I really enjoyed. Also, I'll watch just about anything Robert Kazinsky is in. Yummers.

I gave this a go last night. I get the complaints; it doesn't feel like a Star Trek movie. I'm alright with that, though. We have a lot of Star Trek movies already. It borrows a lot in its world-building, with little nods to other sci-fi shows here and there. It was fun if a bit disposable.

At least in 2016 companies seemed to hold the line. These days they’ve just fallen in line.
