Time away allows the insights and growth necessary to being a person who can live up to the responsibility of a large and influential platform, and all the interpersonal interactions with people who give their money, time, and trust of a great experience they can truly rely on🧵

In all ways I've lost myself, the effort, and respect or consideration towards anyone in all this--in choices, responses, words, tone, impatience, ingratitude, decisions--I need to give time to seeing it and changing it.

I've not lived up to it; I've got to evolve.🧵

🚥I'm taking a hiatus from vtubing as of today.

I've got a lot of self-reflection and improvement to do on all aspects of streaming: my decisions, topics, approach, and responses while live.

You deserve the best of me and I haven't been anywhere near it.🧵

It was, and seven years is a lot of learning.

I'm adding last night's experience to my education and look forward to more (with less mistakes made that upset and cause unnecessary stress for people).

I understand now why I was approached by anyone (new faces or subbed), their concerns, and the upset at the suddenness of bans--it's worrying, confusing, and it was wrong. Vendryth has publicly apologized personally in a thread on here as well.

I'm sorry to the banned and you for the upset.

I personally unbanned them post-stream in examining what exactly happened here in the midst of all the activity during the stream leading up to that moment. The morning is what brought the context that allowed the bigger picture.

I didn't intend for any of the hurt or confusion last night.

I can do literally nothing in a conversation I accept that's followed by an immediate dismissal the moment I speak.

As result of the dismissal and the verbiage, my mods banned them, believing they'd been intentionally antagonistic and used a sub message to do it.

A ban was still the wrong action.

I was still processing their message, but I opened a dialogue to discuss concerns with them on stream in the order of what they wrote to me.

I was immediately told they did not care for that.🧵

I see your worry over this and understand your concern with that moment was that there was disrespect and disregard for a supporter who, like Andrew, was approaching in good faith.

I paused to address them, since it was a surprising sub message I didn't fully grasp, but warranted my attention.🧵
