the broke person in me feels horrified at the idea of intentionally tossing away the resellability of a potentially $100+ card (with values in heavy quotes, prices are arbitrary, etc)

but the artist, gamer, and community-oriented dork in me is all for it

this is so interesting to me, it hits on such a unique intersection between play and profit that i think most players struggle with at some point

Have y’all literally never seen marketing? If they’d instead said “They’re good enough and you don’t need to dig through bulk.”
