I have to answer my phone. I work from home in international trade and I get business calls all day from customers and trade partners that aren’t all in my contacts. I’m retiring in June, and can stop answering then.

I’m 73 and I get 10 to 20 scam calls a day. I’ve tried just hanging up, screaming at them and cursing them out and they just keep calling from different numbers. I’m pretty savvy to this and I’m not about to give them any info but it it unbelievably annoying. Being a senior makes you a target. 😡

Same with my family. Fuchs dystrophy- my grandmother was blind by the time I was a teen. Medical research is so important to the quality of life for all Americans.

I had cornea transplants and cataract surgery last year on both eyes. I’m still healing and it’s been 6 months since the last one, but the difference is amazing. Like you, I’m grateful.

In my old age, I’ve learned to embrace all of the aspects of my life that made me who I am. My narcissistic mother raised an incredibly strong and resilient woman. My survival strategy with narcissists is to stay as far away from them as possible, not much help in this situation.

My meds are expensive as well and the costs have risen exponentially in the past 10 years. But after having a stroke and subsequent heart surgery with all my costs covered I’m happy with my policy and have no plans to change.

When everyone was watching the Apprentice, I tried and it made me nauseous. I was raised by a narcissist and recognized him for what he is immediately.

That’s been my experience as well. I’ve been through two major medical issues in the past two years and was hospitalizing over a week each time. Neither one cost me anything.

I’m not sure. I’ve had the same UHC plan through AARP since I turned 65, so almost 10 years and it’s been great for me.

I’m not sure why, but it’s comforting to me to realize how truly insignificant we are.

I have that “crap” policy through AARP and it’s great. Just went through a stroke and a lengthy hospitalization followed by heart surgery. Everything was covered.
