The game was so promising once upon a time, but it got mismanaged into the ground. On top of being greedy, they seemed obsessed with reworking things instead of adding new ones. Overhauled progression, reworked weapons, just constantly. Game might as well be dead with what they did this time.
The issue is that plenty of survivors now think that half the builds or killers in the game need policing or are worth DCing over. That's the whole problem right now. Remove all barriers from doing that and well... the problem can't get better. There's no logical reason that it would improve
Ehh. I disagree. People are DCing and giving up a ton already right now. Remove the penalty without changing anything else, and the problem can only get worse. Though again, there might be more "proper" DCs instead of first hook deaths.
And the fact that some people are proposing that we take *away* the dc penalty to fix it is insane. Though at least more people would give their team a bot instead of dying on first hook.
Oh it's definitely a problem that needs addressing. Otz put it well; despite the game being in a good place, it doesn't *feel* like it's in a good place. And top 3 on the list of why is people going next at the first sign of friction. At this point a normal game of dbd seems like a rarity
I didn't like Teal Mask and stopped playing Indigo Disk when I learned that "BP" didn't mean Battle Tower but instead "infinite chores you have to do to get the starters." Performance is awful, the story is eh, the new mons are neat (mostly Ogerpon and Ursaluna BM)... just eh. SWSH's were better
