Maybe they relied on AI to pick targets. But they bombed the school twice, hitting it again 40 minutes after the initial strike, in order to kill survivors and first responders. The mere *existence* of AI means no one has to be held responsible for this crime against humanity

This is so heartbreaking, and also I am going to make my PSA again.

Babies can be vaccinated against measles as young as six months, it’s just not standard. It’s usually only recommended for international travel in the US. But guess what? We’re the plague pit now.

The American right is heavily invested in the myth that progressives only oppose the war in Iran because we do not want freedom for Iranians

there's so much bad in the world but there's also people who lift up and carry an elderly bat around every day so he can pretend he's flying again, and that's the part of the world I think is worth fighting for

It is so weird when younger people think that getting older means ceasing social participation

This is also why so many of you fear aging. You think that you will be forced away from life and society

Trump just lifted (or reduced) sanctions on Russia. He will always side with Putin.

This is going to be hard for some people to accept, but I think the US government is lying to us about the state of negotiations between itself and Iran.

Kansas invalidated a trans woman's license even though she never changed her gender marker.

It's not about the gender marker. It's about targeting trans people and making their lives unlivable.

U.S. Troops Were Told Iran War Is for “Armageddon,” Return of Jesus Advocacy group reports commanders giving similar messages at more than 30 installations in every branch of the military

EXCLUSIVE: At more than 30 installations, U.S. commanders told troops the war on Iran is a Christian war.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation has been “inundated” with more than 110 complaints.

You couldn’t make this up.
And if you did, everyone would say it’s too much.

Except most of them never raise their own kids and call child support “gold-digging,” and also tend to get kinda murdery when they impregnate their victims (to hide the evidence of their rape).

I had to take it at 15 because I essentially wouldn't stop bleeding. My period was something like one week on, one week off.

They won't start with banning birth control. First they'll lie about it. Then dictate who can prescribe it, use it, fund it, in what forms, and for how long. Suddenly, your doctor won't call you back. I know this is what they'll do because it's what they're doing to transgender healthcare right now.

They're going to lie about birth control just as they did with trans people.

You do remember he was impeached twice during his last term, right?

We have less congressional power than then, it's more deeply corrupted, and they are ignoring Congress anyway.

We haven't been looking for other solutions because we're convinced the system will still save us. Lost energy, time.

Getting a majority to pass this is not going to happen.

Telling people to work together to find solutions to the problems we have instead of the ones we wish we had is not defeatist. Realism is not defeatism. It's what makes practical solutions possible.

So the men's hockey team partied with Kash Patel and made a bunch of misogynistic jokes about the women's hockey team and yukked it up with Trump and tbh this is why I have a hard time caring about the Olympics because I need to see who you voted for before I expend any energy rooting for you.

The reason we're here is that tens of millions of people will punch a hole in a wall if they hear someone used food stamps to buy soda but they're fine if the right-wing podcaster turned fbi director uses his taxpayer funded private jet to go party whenever he feels like it bsky.app/profile/thed...

TIL Rudy Eugene, the attacker in the 2012 “zombie/bath salts” case, didn’t actually have bath salts in his system and it is still unclear why he attacked the victim that day.
Psychiatrist Delvena Thomas pointed out that there are not tests for many synthetic drugs or bath salts.

This one might be the rare double-You're Wrong About.

Initial reporting was that the face-chewing guy was on bath salts.

But then the toxicology report showed he only had weed in his system.

But then it turns out they can't actually test for bath salts.

I’m going to keep sharing this PSA: although the MMR is usually given at 12 and 18 months, your baby can get a first dose as early as 6 months. They will still need the other two doses, because immunity doesn’t stick at that age, and insurance may not cover it. But it’s protection.
