I'm always interested in the connections people make with food and where the lines are drawn. Do you (would you) eat shellfish? Let's draw a line between molluscs (oysters, queenies, octopus) and The Rest - lobster, shrimp, prawns, crabs. Are any of these ok?

And bears are mostly vegetarian - I could see eating a bear when it's been gorging itself on berries all summer long. Post-hibernation maybe not so much.

Beer-battered and deep-fried worms honestly wouldn't faze me if I knew that the worms had been fed a human-friendly diet. I've eaten spiders and crickets with no ill-effects, I don't see why worms should be any different.

Yes, it would be better if they spent their time in prison getting an education, skills that would equip them for life after stir, but still. They sent POWs out to work on farms back in the day - it's the same principle.
