This year, we've primarily been working on polishing the content we have built so far, in addition to adding some new features. Our goal is to have a really solid chunk of the game ready for an early access release on Steam. Then we can continue to add content along with community feedback.

In 2024 we transitioned the 2D stuff all into 3D and really tightened up the framework of the game. Showing an early build of the game at conventions saw a lot of positive feedback that inspired us to make the game even better!

In 2023 we began roughing in the mechanics in Unity with some 2D "programmer art" and also started playing around with 3D scenes. This is our first fully 3D game!

We first started the design process for The House of Hamelin with a pen and paper prototype around 2022. We used this method to test and refine the core idea. Right away, we knew we had something fun on our hands!
