I was in 11th grade. I listened to the radio in the morning and heard about the assassination of John Lennon. I wore my black stage crew overall to school. No one else seemed to give a damn. That was 44 years ago. I'm still dreaming, but it's pretty depressing to think of what's happened since.

Brilliant. Especially today, as the Assad regime in Damascus has fallen.
