...and how they can make it even worse
He's also very busy trying to keep people from remembering that Tesla is a cars and batteries company, so that its stock price stays uncoupled from its actual business
Yep, for many people (yes, need to β¬οΈ), EVs have <1 minute charging capability with very convenient charging infrastructure. 10 seconds to plug it in when I get home, and the same to unplug it when I leave.
& "I will never go back to ICE" is a very common sentiment once people buy their first EV.
This gets even funnier the more tones of voice I imagine it in.
Also, it reminds me of this old classic
We've got name and diagnosis, is it too much to hope for prescription too?
She's finished the pre-reqs for the 2-year program at our local community college and kind of biding time (by taking extra classes / continuing build more proficiency) to officially start in fall 2027. The wait is mostly for logistics since both our kids will be in school then.
Interpreting, not interrupting
Are you working toward interrupting English/ASL, ASL/another sign language, or both? Mrs. H. is working to become an English/ASL interpreter.
ALL HAIL PHONE HOLDER
I forgot she was the one whose book's entire premise was demolished in a live interview! Remembering this rhyme does me well enough, though
First vs second, so I guess this confirms the county listing since the rectangles aren't quite edge-to-edge in the first
In 4th or 5th grade, I tried going for David Copperfield because it had the highest point value in the library.
I didn't make it through, though, and my point total for the year absolutely suffered (compared to other years) for the "lost time" not spent completing other books.
I don't know how to tell for sure if we do actually own its bit of land, though
Our first purchase (not FHA) we hit some confusion because it's listed in county data as a condo (so loan treated it as a condo), but I think we do own the land? The dev't has both townhomes & condos so the HOA is 3 entities linked togetherβtownhomes, condos, shared amenities (pool, clubhouse).
County data says property type 119 PUD.
Our current home (second-time homebuyer, kept the first), a townhouse, is FHA because we didn't have enough cash on hand for a standard mortgage down payment. Didn't have any problems doing that that I was aware of. That's all the info or take I've got here
Yeah, if a utility doesn't have a setup to turn sensor data into DLRs & deploy those DLRs into ops then that raises the hypothetical bar even higher if we want to say "well, how about you do this instead of a line rebuild". And idk which utilities do & don't have that.
We've got one case (MISO but not MN) where the shoulder season study case came up with an overloaded line, but only because they used the most limiting (summer) ratings instead of spring seasonal ratings. And they haven't even been willing to budge on that π
This approach can definitely help reduce renewable energy curtailment, but I haven't seen it help with interconnection unfortunately. I wish I could say "yet", but that'll be a tough sell since IX is on the long-term planning time scale and almost always makes conservative assumptions.
so i take it the straits are not OK
And I woulda done it a lot faster if I were on a computer instead of having to long-press my phone's screen to place a flag

I didn't hear whatever this was, but on Saturday I saw two banana copters (Chinooks?) flying north over SL Valley together and earlier this evening I saw what looked like a military helicopter flying over Herriman. Definitely seems like Hill AFB is pretty active right now.
Yep, that's how I meant it. π
What are they trying to avoid by going this route? Utility spending to unseat city electeds before a takeover could close, no doubt, but what else?
Yeah, plus some # of players & collectors who are hooked enough to drop that much $.
Lots of TCG are like this nowadays. I got into the One Piece TCG ~4 months ago and thankfully it's possible to enjoy the game without that level of spend, but market price for fresh product is at least double MSRP.
Wait, that's not a clock
Seems like that's what he intended to do.
Please tell me it's nothing personnel...
That's a pretty face! Back before my first-gen Moto 360 died, I had one with similar aims. Showed yellow bars each hour for sunlight level and blue/white ones for rain/snow levels.
