Important that people read the article & understand the mechanisms by which these things occur so they can determine their best options now and in the future (i.e., if the Swiss gov't ends the MLAT, the FBI will no longer have that avenue to collect this data. Not for nothing but there are also online gambling sites that have a much higher threshold for establishing at least ostensible legitimacy than whatever these scam artists were allowed to do here. Just the account specs would’ve led to accounts / assets frozen pending a slew of documentation.
