The Lost Son by @sarahcassidy.bsky.social is... possibly my favourite episode of the whole series? Definitely Carole Ann Ford's best performance, and properly getting into the aftermath of losing Alex in a deeper way that hasn't been done before.. beautiful stuff

Truly incredible storytelling by everyone involved in #adolescence I think I held my breath for the entire four episodes.

Saw this funny, heart-wrenching movie yesterday. A simple, perfectly crafted buddy story which was mesmerising and explored the complexity of grief so beautifully. Kieran Culkin is outstanding.

I’ve really enjoyed attending the Screenwriting Weekender in Newcastle. Not just because it’s in the North and it’s refreshing to not have to travel to London. But, what a fantastic, jam-packed schedule filled with people on the panels with regional accents. A superb event. Well worth the trip.

This is such a great thread. I love McDonagh’s plays but my fave by far is the Lieutenant of Inishmore. Saw it in Liverpool last year, and is as brilliant on stage as it is as a read.
