Just leaving this piece of history here for no reason: On March 21, 1933, after being sworn in despite his conviction for the failed 1923 insurrection, Hitler issued an Article 48 decree granting amnesty to Nazis convicted of crimes—including everyone who was part of the failed beer hall coup.
