Het Europees Parlement heeft vandaag definitief ingestemd met het ontmantelen van de antiwegkijkwet, nog voordat die was ingevoerd.

Het is een overwinning voor de fossiele bedrijven die hier het afgelopen jaar intensief voor hebben gelobbyd. Ook het Nederlandse Nyrstar deed mee.

Een treurige dag in Europa: de christen-democraten en radicaalrechts besluiten de wet voor eerlijke productieketens te slopen.
