Emma Swift “Nothing And Forever” – what’ll it be? Emma Swift made a big hit with her album of Dylan covers "Blonde On the Tracks", and now she's setting up to release a new album of her own music.  It's called "The Resurrection Game", and it is due out 12th September via Tiny Ghost Records.  The latest single from it is 'Nothing And Forever' which is a string rich and richly nostalgic song about love either becoming stronger or evaporating completely - or alternatively floating around somewhere in the doldrums of the in-between state.

Spanning 21 luminescent tracks, the new double album 'For All The World' is a magnificent journey through the fertile imagination of John Andrew Frederick and his band the black watch. The common theme throughout is the ear for indelible catchy melodies, infused with a sparkling melancholia and shimmering instrumentation. Incredibly, it is the black watch's twenty-fifth album - a testimony to the firm hand on the tiller by Frederick but also the well worn description of his prolific capacity for songwriting - a capacity that is not diluted or diminished over that time or over the tracks of this double album.

Peter (Peter, Bjorn and John) brings us his SunYears new album in August SunYears - the solo alias of Peter Morén, best known from the internationally acclaimed indie band Peter Bjorn and John is returning with new music after announcing the release of their album "The Song Forlorn" which is due out on August 21st via Villa Records. The latest single, 'Last Night on the Mountain'  which premiered on these pages two weeks ago, is a folk ballad about trust, hope, and holding on through hard times.
