I was never an active participant on Twitter, but I have been aware of its increasingly toxic environment. So, take this with a grain of salt: I'm not seeing Twitter refugees as obsessive. Rather, I see people who have been engaged in battle and who are in the early stages of recovering from it.

Resist fear. Authoritarian systems thrive on intimidation. Stand firm, support one another, and act with courage.

Hell, at this point, I'd be happy to just cut out the middle man by sending the Federal amount to the California Franchise Tax Board to strengthen our social services and education programs, while simultaneously fucking over the welfare states that hate us anyway. Win-win.
