Every time one wants a little more engagement people say "Go do Savage" and I just really don't want to study a predetermined dance step for 10 minutes.

Heck, they can clear that with min ilvl so gear only helps reduce the timer of the same dance by a little.

I fully agree. Field operations would be the place to have gear that is interesting, but it seems that they are afraid of it so they just give a minimal stat boost and haste. That's it.

I wish FOs had different gear for different situations

I do enjoy seeing what people think of the game.

The sad truth is that the "Casual Player" and I mean the TRUE true casual player struggles to keep up their Item Level for the next Dungeon and Trial in a patch.

I know because I have experienced gearing up people who play once or twice a week.

It is so beautiful to be able to clear a somewhat hard fight without having to study a video guide or powerpoint presentation and still feels so rewarding!

Advanced Difficulty in #FFXIV is probably my favorite version of combat difficulty in the game thinking about it.

It has mechanics you can adapt to instead of being forced to learn the pre-determined dancing steps you have to follow every single time

Bosses don't reset as much to the center either
