We've been under fascist takeover for decades. A cycle of escalation and normalization. One party to push the envelope, one to feign concern at abuses and perform mock accountability so people can feel safe and believe if the state is hurting someone that they deserve it.

When Repubs and Dems harmed us non-American and other marginalized groups, liberals don't care, we are always expendables. As soon as the harms they created *boomerang* back to them? That harm becomes unacceptable because "America First".

The liberal version of "America First" is when they selfishly argue that everyone should have voted for Kamala Harris, despite her material support for genocide, because the lives of people in the US need to be prioritized over stopping the war crimes we're committing around the world.
