28.02.2025 12:31 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I am so, so proud of the work of every single person involved in the making of this production. It has been one of the most fulfilling projects of my career, and one that will stay with me forever. I am particularly proud of what our chorus have achieved - they really do steal the show (Cont. )
28.02.2025 12:31 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Then in January, our professional cast arrived, and it has been such a joy to work with them as they brought the show to life alongside our choirs. This show has world-class performers performing alongside total amateurs - and everything in between. (Cont.)
28.02.2025 12:31 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0As assistant conductor and chorus master for this show, I have been in the lucky position to be across every aspect of this show. I first auditioned our chorus of 110 (!) local singers last June, and then spent a joyous autumn teaching them this music. (Cont.)

First Twitter imploding, now Meta scrambling to appease the Trump administration. The amount of vitriol out there is staggering, and I increasingly find myself retreating from it all.
All very depressing.
Merry Christmas from me and Usher. 🙂↔️🎄

A lovely way to finish the year - travelling the UK with the brilliant Rebecca Meltzer as we audition for our 2025 cohort of young artist singers at Waterperry Opera Festival.
I’m around, and will be coming to the showcase in the evening - see you then! Hope it all goes well. ☺️
