We’re the Cryosphere Research Group at DTU Space, studying the polar regions using satellite remote sensing. We monitor and map changes in snow & ice, assess polar climate change impacts, and provide data to imporve polar climate models. Follow for polar science insights! ❄️#Cryosphere #PolarResearch

Yesterday marked the start of the new study year at DTU, where we welcomed 42 new bachelor students to our Earth and Space Physics and Engineering programme. Our head of study Sine Hvidegaard made sure the students got a good intro to their new student life.
See you at #LPS25? On my way on the Nightjet towards Vienna, and preparing the final slides for my presentation, tomorrow called "Challenging Traditional Methodologies Applied for Snow Depth Retrieval Using Near-Coincident Multi-Frequency Altimetry" in Hall E1 between 16:15-17:45!

We just wrapped up an inspiring session in our #Geodesy and #EO division! 🌍
Everyone had 4 minutes to share what they’re working on. In just one hour, we gained a fresh view of projects and research. It wasn’t easy sticking to the time limit, but that challenge made the stories even more engaging 🚀
📢 #St3TART-FO aimed at providing accurate, traceable validation data to support #Sentinel-3, with our own Henriette Skourup as thematic lead for sea ice and @reneefredensborg.bsky.social on the team, marked a major milestone and is operational! ➡️ sentinels.copernicus.eu/web/success-...
