I see people on the fanfic subreddits like 'omg I wish I could kudos twice'

Am I owed comments? No, of course not, but it would vastly improve my workflow and motivation if even one of those forty people bothered to do anything but consume. Just one 'keep it up' or even a concrit would have done wonders. Now y'all get to wait 5 months for content because I'm so discouraged.

I'm taking a break from writing my TMNT longfic (that's already over 350k words at this point) because while I do need to decompress from it, I also checked my stats to find that it has FOURTY subs and I haven't gotten any comments for EIGHTEEN chapters. And people wonder why fic authors give up.

My PC backlog is VNs, Undertale Yellow, and a list of Pokemon rom hacks that aren't pictured for my own sanity.
