it was a temporary exhibition in 2024 unfortunately :( but they have different exhibitions in smaller time slots and it's so worth a visit

lowkey best day of my life walking through nyc in the morging, going to the met museum, and somehow managing to see the costume institute in the very last time slot.... it was claustrophobic as fuck but i made sure to let myself really take time with every garment 😭❤️‍🩹 take me back i'm sry
