It's so dissociative living in a time when there is so much beauty, on our planet, in the things people create, and the people themselves; while living in such a dark time.

I think part of the reason some people are unwilling to change is because it's happening so fast, like 200 years ago, we still had indentured child labor in factories. 200 years really isn't that long.

It's so worth sharing the love inside you, especially with yourself.

I keep seeing talk of rage, and of fear, but really at this moment, I am just so overwhelmingly sad. I am grieving for those who have suffered, those who are suffering, and everyone will suffer.

Happy Black History Month! Here is my favorite story about a Black American you may not know about: Robert Smalls. He commandeered a confederate ship and sailed himself, his family, and the other enslaved crew and their families to freedom. THROUGH waters controlled by the Confederacy.

As much as I am seething with rage at those who voted for Trump, we need to make space to be ok with letting them into our community building. They are going to need us too. Don't be unsafe, but community extends to them too.
