I worked in emergency planning for many years.

Most of Aussies are sensible and follow the scientific advice.

We always knew @5-6% would refuse and not comply. I suspect that is closer to 10-15% now, due to the spread of misinformation.

JFC! As someone with almost 30 years of experience in this area, the sheer waste of police staff and resources is staggering, so too the cost.

The redeployment of hundreds of frontline police from local communities is a huge drain, especially to see them pointlessly guarding a barricade.

Extending Middlemount to 2044 means Labor has now approved 35 fossil fuel projects.
