Between sick days and emergency days,
My son’s birthday , Christmas , nursing fee.

😭😭😭 I need another job that’s not front line nursing because I have zero money

November was hand foot mouth
Then my day care had strep
Then we had like 3 weeks of the flu
Then I had stomach issues last week
And then child started puking last night and here we are.

It’s never. ending. illnesses. This winter.

The gastro bug has hit the house. Baby Borg is napping and I’m doing puke laundry.

The Child and I have been swapping illnesses for weeks
I woke up this morning to get read for work and my temp was 39 C (102)

I’m trying to lay down and relax but in my head there’s just so many things to do.
Christmas is coming and his 3rd birthday. Ugh. I wish I could relax.

Going for a date night for the first time in like 10 months. Momma needs a drink.

I get in such a zone when I’m organizing and putting things in donation piles and declutterring that I get so hot and sweaty.

A nice step outside in shorts and a tee in -1C temps really helps. 🤤🤤

Her voice is soooo soothing and beautiful to listen to. Like magic.

I have so many of the botanical ones. I love those so much. But yes, going to use all of our old Lego from when we were kids to build for now for sure.

Yah and you can make wish lists and stuff and family members. The website is super interactive now too. Great idea.

Yes we have Rubbermaid’s full of our Lego from childhood. So he’s definitely going to get into that. Maybe save a kit for Christmas or a birthday or something.

How do people actually afford Lego ? Is there something I am missing ? They’re SO pricey and people have shelves and rooms literally filled with them.

My husband and I LOVE LEGO. We are 1980’s kids and grew up with them. We love the sets they have these days too and have a few.

Our little guy turns 3 in December and already is working on proper LEGO. I foresee many sets in our future.

I had an interview almost two weeks ago (this Tuesday) for a leadership opportunity. There’s two positions available.
A social worker I work with found out he got one almost a week ago. We were supposed to hear by the first week because the position needs to be started “asap”
