It’s possible that I’m misremembering since LL (the system and format were both announced so long ago) in which case I’ll happily own up to it

I would argue however that a format showcasing the most powerful things also shouldn’t have bans because, like, why are you banning the most powerful things

Not to say that my personal favorite deck ever is Ira or Zen with Zephyr Needles, but that hypothetical player now has nowhere to go all so 34 people could play in the “premier” format

LL should’ve been left alone as a Wild West format where Chane, Starvo, and Zen beat on each other. When the mission statement is “you can play with all your favorite cards,” by definition any ban ruins that

I disagree: Striders is Kano’s identity, not Wizard’s

Cheating a turn cycle makes sense when your hero is missing a turn cycle’s worth of health. Verdance (and Iyslander to a lesser extent) doesn’t have that restriction

LSS changed what a wizard is and Striders isn’t applicable to it anymore

It occurred to me that our blessed homeland is a combination of mechanics that don’t overlap while their barbarous wastes is “Wizard,” implying that it takes three separate classes together to achieve Wizard’s baseline

I gotta say I’m beginning to side with the homeland on this one

Fun fact! Flick Knives can target any hero, including yourself. Doing so meets the conditions of cards like Blood Splattered Vest, Cut Through, and Mask of Momentum

I don’t know if it’s better or worse that Cindra has the option to Flick herself to play around floating prevention
