Forget climate denial, Labor's tactical fatalism will burn us all The climate movement is ill-equipped to deal with a threat that looks like this. Any fantasy we had of a global moral pact of good intentions is dead.

We don't have good words to describe governments and companies that accept 'climate science', but will knowingly burn the world for short term gain.

Australia's government is openly planning to supply the fuel for the world's self destruction. I wrote about it, for @crikey.com.au -->>

Albanese, the new Howard, is keeping Australia in the past Anthony Albanese once derided John Howard. Now he's become a Howard-like figure of political dominance, while holding Australia back just as the Liberal PM did.

Australia’s next government may be Great Barrier Reef’s last chance after sixth mass bleaching, conservationist says Consecutive and severe bleaching is ‘fundamentally changing’ nature of reef, the International Coral Reef Society says

Convicted Felons are not welcome in Australia. The fact that one is the president of a former ally nation is a huge issue. It's not just trade and military agreements that are at stake - but the PM should be a leader. Not give people an excuse not to vote for him.

Sour grapes and “half measures”: industry responds to the 2025 budget - Winetitles Following the announcement of the federal budget last night, industry representatives have voiced their dissatisfaction with the allocations for wine and agriculture more broadly.

Budget provides no support for major Aus industries such as Wine but dubious legislation to be passed to allow for foreign owned salmon farming companies operating in Tas! Terrible! #AusBudget #Tasmania #Wineindustry #salmonfarming

Changes to laws pass lower house in attempt to protect salmon jobs Federal Labor pushes through legislation that could derail a legal battle over salmon farming's impact on an endangered ray and safeguard the industry's future in Tasmania.

Salmon Farming is not suited to Tas waters for a numer of reasons…. despicable this has come to pass and a terrible precedent for future environmental issues.

Labor bend over backwards for the right of foreign owned industry to destroy the natural environment for profit.

No jobs on a dead planet. The Australian Labor Party political party will make damn sure of that.

I sincerely hope vehicle access on beaches is prohibited nationally. Have never understood why it has been allowed.

Maybe these companies should be looking to land aquaculture instead to better manage the environment suitable for the fish they are producing.

I will no longer be supporting Labour Party federally or locally

The companies need to desist with inappropriate fish farming in waters that are alreadty too warm and the cause of illness/defects and cruelty to the fish.

I am all for supporting jobs, but not to support foreign business with no regard for not only fish welfare but also little regard for the environment
