I grew up in the 2000s, bought In Utero twice because the first disc got actually screwed up by my CD walkman wearing out. The mix was claustrophobic but open all at once and nothing felt busted up, and it's like this aspirational thing, wanting to make music and come even close to that sound.

There's a real short list of people I want to learn from and ask for advice, figure things out and like. I mean I don't know what I don't know or do know, I just mix shit and it sounds good, got my preferences. But I still wanted to learn, and like. You were one of those people I wanted to ask.
