My overall issue is the fact that people still need to hear a message at all from Dems just to vote. I don't need a message. I know what the GOP wants to do, and I don't want that done. I will vote to put Dems in control first and foremost.

Unfortunately, Dems are going to bang that bipartisan drum because they're trying to increase their percentage of white voters. That's the largest group of voters and the group that can turn elections by themselves. I don't like it because focusing on white voters tends to lead to us getting screwed

Don't believe all their rhetoric is just hot air. These folks will vote themselves into destitution if they know liberals are going to be just as broken. My folks have been on the receiving end of that hate for centuries. Don't dismiss or ignore it.

Legislation and impeachment are two different balls of wax. If Dems run on impeachment, y'all better get all the non-voters to join in and vote. The GOP will rally around Trump and Republicans and set new voting records. We're dealing with people who would exterminate liberals if they could.

I'm not advising anyone to give up. If you read my timeline, I encourage people to fight. It's going to take people in the streets for an extended period of time and crippling the economy to cause billionaires to lose their fortunes to cause change. A one day protest won't get it done.

There's enough bad shit the GOP has done to campaign on without resorting to unbelievable lies. Imagine what's going to happen if Dems retake Congress in 2026? The GOP is going to blame all the bad shit from their tax cuts on the Dem Congress when all that shit hits the fan.

I don't believe in lying to people. We already don't trust politicians because we believe they always lie. Why make it a reality?

We need honesty and reality. Most of this country didn't experience the bad side of Jim Crow. Many more will feel it under a dictator.

This election has Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, and even Georgia. Dems have a chance to retake the senate. They're not getting a 2/3rds majority. They're not even going to get 60 seats. History shows that white America is going to stick with the GOP.

It was much easier in November 2024 than it will ever be in the future. That's what people fail to grasp. You never give a wannabe dictator a second chance to become a dictator.

You only need 51 to stop his appointments. As far as legislation, if Congress passed legislation that helped average Americans and Trump vetoed it, the pressure would be more on Republicans to join Dems to override it. That's more realistic than sweeping 31 out of 33 Senate seats.

Not only am I not surprised about who he is and what he's accused of doing, I'm also not surprised that the image of him in this is a family album type photo instead of his mugshot.

2/2. This is where idealism runs off the rails. Pragmatism is running on regaining the majority to stop Trump's appointments and work on legislation to roll back on his abuse of executive power.

1/2 With 22 of the 33 seats up for election, Dems would need to hold all 11 of theirs and pick up 20 out of the 22 GOP seats to get the 67 seats required for conviction and removal. Look at this map and ask yourself what is the realistic chance of this happening?
