So, Digimon Adventure Beyond... Not gonna lie, I am a little disappointed. The lack of any story or story connection felt like a copout after everything. As for the new anime season? Awesome, actually. I think it's really cool they have a music-influenced gimmick this time presumably.

As a child, Kari Kamiya was a little girl with short brown hair that frames her face and has bangs down to her eyebrows. Her eyes are noticeably reddish in hue. She wears a light pink scarf and a whistle around her neck, a sleeveless yellow dress with two white buttons, hot pink shorts, and baggy white socks with large red and white sneakers.

At 11 years old, Kari is taller, and now wears her hair out of her face with a red hairclip to keep it in place. She now wears a camera around her neck instead of a whistle, and dresses in a sleeveless turtleneck top that's hot pink at the top and white at the bottom. She also wears long, fingerless pink opera gloves, yellow shorts with a brown belt, white socks, and pink and white shoes.

As a teenager, Kari has bangs again, though she retains her hairclip. Still relatively short, Kari has grown and now dresses in a simple white school uniform with green sleeves, a green skirt, and a green collar with blue cloth tying it. She has brown shoes and white socks.

At 20 years old, Kari stands at 155cm and has grown out her hair, wearing it in a short, low ponytail. Her hair still has bangs hanging over her eyebrows, and she now wears a long beige winter coat over a striped white turtleneck. She also wears baggy grey pants, leggings, and white shoes.

DarkTyrannomon X is a large black dinosaur with a muscular body, with two metallic, knife-like claws on its right arm, metal armlets, red stripes along its body, and a long tail tipped by burning green crystals. The rest of its back from the head has green spines running along it, and it has a mouth full of sharp teeth and a large red X on its head with blue eyes. Dijiangmon is a Digimon whose entire body up to even the head is covered in black leather wrappings. Yellow tags with red symbols, and red spiked decorate the wrappings. It has freakishly long arms ending in deathly grey hands with sharp red nails, a similar left foot, and a metal right foot. Its tail is long and has red hair at the end. It also has brown wings with red tips.

An evil Digimon clad entirely in leather, it has no interest in self-expression and simply remains eerily silent. However, it will cause chaos and conflict by flying amongst crowds of Digimon and causing them to fight each other via enhancing their combat instinct.

Chirinmon is a winged, equine Digimon with distinguishing features like green armor along its back and on its face, gold plating along its armor and feet, and cloudy wisps along its feet armor and as its gold tail. Its body is brown with white wings, and it has a large red horn like a unicorn along with white fur under its green helmet, and an orange patch.
