Ok, I take it back.

What was the one issue with this motherboard ended up being one of my fave features.

Even though it only has a line out and mic port in the back it has a way to convert the mic jack TO a line in.

Headset is playing nice with my mixer again so one less thing to worry about

So I figured there'd be at least some sort of issue with this PC upgrade would arise.

The motherboard has no line in port which is what I used to connect my wireless headset to my audio interface.

So gonna have to cancel tonight's stream while I troubleshoot and just do two streams later today.

PC's been upgraded and I took advantage of now having a white mobo, GPU, and CPU cooler (+ the LCD screen on it) to make it even more Umbrella Corp themed.

Just wish the cords that came with the PSU were white too.

Now just gotta get the new case but for now, got a stream to do.

It actually feels weird seeing a new Mobo in this case given how long that one had carried me but this was long overdue.

@daunknown.bsky.social knows how long ago it was that we were on Mixer.

And that's how long I've gone without upgrading my motherboard.

It was literally the oldest part of this PC.

Feeling a lot of emotions right now as odd as it may sound.

Also hoping those I met there are doing ok.

Just got home and the CPU and cooler are here.

So, what I'm gonna do is get this and the rest installed and keep chasing my dreams as a livestreamer.

As I've said, I'll keep taking the chances others never gave me and to every person who's tried to crush my dreams?

Fuck you. I'm not stopping.

Previous post aside, been at the gym training off and on for the past several hours.

So, gonna go home, eat, and isolate myself by working on getting my PC upgrades installed (until I get a new case)

I don't do dono goals often rogues but I set one for the last few parts needed to build this streaming PC.

Currently I have the GPU, CPU + a cooler for it, PSU, MOBO, and RAM so I just need a case, fans (case I want doesn't have any), and storage.

Some other things came in today that weren't a part of the PC upgrades.

I've loved Absolute Batman so far so I picked up the next volume, finally got the remake for Silent Hill 2, and just so I could stop leaving it laying around on my desk, a rotatable hook for my headset.

Been a good day.

I have the Hero as well lol. But yea it's wireless, has RGB, optical mechanical switches, etc.

Only downside is it doesn't have the weights so its light as well.

All of this arrived while I was live with a new CPU on the way.

All I need now is a new case, fans, and storage.
