Iran posed no imminent threat of attack to the United States. Iran was not close to building a deliverable nuclear weapon. The negotiations Israel scuttled with their strikes held the potential for success.

The #CleanAirAct of 1970 allows CA to seek a waiver of the preemption which prohibits states from enacting emission standards for new motor vehicles, because of CA's geography, weather patterns, high population density that contribute to its air quality challenges, that differ from the national avg.
Trump's Republicans all voted to combine and nullify, under the Congressional Review Act, three critical bills to protect CA's air quality. See #HJRes87 #HJRes88 #HJRes89. This is one more way Trump targets and punishes California that, unique amongst all states, has major air quality challenges.
