Justice Dept. releases missing Epstein documents with Trump allegations The agency said the records, which include allegations made against President Donald Trump in 2019, were not previously released because they were β€œ incorrectly coded.”

The Justice Department publicly posted additional records related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including some that include allegations against President Trump, following sharp criticism of the agency’s handling of the issue.

The IDF just ordered the *entirety of south Lebanon* to be forcibly displaced.

They are emptying the land of its population, creating a massive crisis, and will now proceed to further annihilate large parts of Lebanon.

The very nation state of Lebanon is being destroyed.

And how Ukraine isn't their war, so we in Europe have to pay almost the entire cost of supporting the Ukrainians.

But Israel's wars are their wars, apparently, and we should join them too.

Yes, I don't disagree with you... And in both cases, there can be varied degrees of instructions and supervision

I think you're right in the merit but likely the Bsky post was also drafted by AI, so that's the message the LLM pulled out for max social media engagement. I suspect the Prof is trying out some sort of socio-tech experiment

In some disciplines (not ours I guess!), writing up findings is a boring thing you do in a month at the end of 4 years PhD... So I don't think *this* use of LLM machines is as unethical as they make it sound. Although, of course, there are other serious ethical & environmental problems

I think there's a wide dissonance btw what he wrote on BSky and the post's actual content, which basically says AI can help writing up your findings after you've done all the research and analysis + provided you instruct and supervise it... That's hardly "do better research"

One RR built "a ~200-line instruction file encoding his research workflow, judgment calls, and behavioral guardrails." Another RR designed "the question, the pre-analysis plan, and the analysis" then AI wrote "The 30-page paper [which] is just vestigial wrapping paper". Not exactly AI replacing you

Read this and don't get the level of pushback on the merit of it. The title is misleading imo. What the blog actually suggests is essentially that the researcher does the research and then genAI is good at writing it up if well supervised, and agentic AI can do good stuff if you instruct it well. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

And this is how European leaders lost any little credibility they had left after Gaza. We’re beyond double standards, we’re acquiescing to clear violations because we can’t upset β€œour” bully. (So why should a small country bordering with Russia/China/India/you name it do otherwise?)

European government officials: are the strikes illegal? WhO cAN sAy? Certainly not us.

A 'Corporate Takeover' of Gaza: Who Runs the Board of Peace? Palestine Square

Trump’s new β€œBoard of Peace” met for the first time in Washington last week with billions pledged for a Gaza 'reconstruction plan.' Analysts say the Board's plans reframe Gaza’s reconstruction as an investment project.

Divisional Court grants Home Secretary’s app for permission to appeal and suspends its quashing of proscription of Palestine Action pending determination of the appeal.

Claimant’s app for permission to cross-appeal refused.

The proscription Order remains in force.

There are two legal questions here. One question here is if AI companies have a duty to report dangerous behaviors. Another question is if it's legitimate that they monitor everyone's individual chats or that violates privacy
