Impeach and remove this lawless man, you fools.
I have looked at a map and I'm still not 100% these guys could find Iran on one
Under any other administration I'd just say "huh well that's confusing but I'm sure there's a reasonable if evil explanation for what they're doing here." But
Breaking: the DOGE deposition videos have been taken off YouTube. On Friday the government asked a judge to intervene, said the videos could cause reputational damage, death threats. Judge agreed, ordered them removed: www.404media.co/doge-deposit...
There is nobody good. Tom Steyer is supporting the billionaire tax though.
I am incredibly meh on every candidate so far.
Well I'm not going to defend her, clearly the message didn't hit the intended audience and that's on her.
Swalwell hasn't said anything about a progressive tax. Steyer supports the billionaire tax. I mean there's still room for a person with real progressive ideas.
The only ads I've been seeing are from Steyer and he's saying he'll raise taxes on the wealthy.
I will be honest I've given up on getting a good governor 😭 I'm not a huge fan of either Swalwell or Porter.
I do think trying to politically not come out and say "I will raise taxes on the wealthy" isn't a winning message right now.
"I will raise taxes on the wealthy" is the the message with the most support right now. What is Swalwell saying?
She literally said lowering taxes on one end and offsetting the cuts with increased corporate taxes. I don't know where people are getting that.
Why? Because inequality is the cause of a lot of our social problems and redistributing from the top 5% to the bottom 50% is how we resolve that.
People with income over 100k (that's the california median family income!) pay for the infrastructure. People with income below that use the infrastructure but do not pay. That's redistribution.
But people below median should not pay income taxes.
OK hear me out.
Redistributing income from those with over 100k income to those with under 100k income in california is a good idea actually.
Making the tax structure extremely progressive would be good. If that's what happened.

More reactions from elected officials are coming in.
Rep. Trevor Lee: “Love it! We have huge demand in the West for another facility.”
Rep. Matt MacPherson: “[W]ith the lack of jail/prison capacity already, this is likely a great boost to public safety.”
Because AI can't conceptualize, it doesn't have a concept map, it does not understand the difference between an example and a fictional anecdote.
Grammarly’s A.I. version of me suggested replacing the first sentence of a news article with an anecdotal opening describing a fictional person named Laura.
The bot offered an imagined story about Laura and a button allowing the user to paste that fiction straight into the article.
Grammarly's AI-fueled edits -- using my name - suggested making up sources and writing vague insinuations.
In my latest for @nytopinion.nytimes.com (gift link) I describe Grammarly's terrible edits in my name -- and call for a federal right of publicity.

South African immigrants to the US are returning to South Africa because the US does not feel safe, citing school shooters and ICE raids. apple.news/A9pQEUbPrT_W...
When a federal judge (finally) put ICE officers under oath, they admitted that they are given daily detention quotas and rely heavily on a Palantir-supplied AI tool to select targets, without warrants and without enough evidence to obtain one. They simply go into neighborhoods and round people up.
We spoke to Black women who started the Target boycott & who sustained it for a yr+. They'll likely never go back.
Teacher Laverne Mickens put it like this: “[Black women] will say if & when it’s over. And I can tell you right now: That will be the 15th of never ever.”

Angela Lipps was babysitting four children when U.S. Marshals showed up with guns drawn. Fargo police had IDed her using AI facial recognition. She spent 108 days in jail. Her bank records proved she was 1,200 miles away. She lost her house, car, and dog.
And this is why I am constantly harping on the absolute undeniable fact that the USA is engaging in war with Iran because they feel it will advance US interests, not because of Israel.
By US interests I mean rich people in the US. Those are the people this admin cares about.
1. It was 1,272 respondents
2. You don't understand what a poll is, and that's ok, but maybe you shouldn't talk about politics.
3. Also you need to read to the end of the paragraph.
4. And again, this is why they call it the socialism of fools.
