funny minecraft bug: beds cancel fall damage, but if you manage to sleep in the bed before you land on it, when you wake up adjacent to the bed you take fall damage - stores the fall damage calc until you're no longer in the air

I'll likely make a full video talking about DayZ's gunplay and how its current iteration is missing these elements but wanted to shout my thoughts into the void real quick.

5 cont. It's very rare for people to hold you up after shooting you uncon, and main reason is uncon is often short and player is a threat the moment they wake. Uncon should be longer in most cases, and waking players should have no stamina. Uncon is a chance to lose the fight, but keep living.

5. Projectile damage balance. It's tough and complex, but how each weapon/ammo balances is tied to all previous systems and more. Shock/uncon should be upped though imo, with armour passing blocked health damage on as shock. Game revolves around armour now and that's really boring IMO.

4. Sniping is far less common now for so many reasons, including ones already listed, but the ugly lens effect on all scopes is blurry and cheap looking. When compared with scopes without, it's obvious which I'd rather use. There is no variation either, they all use same ugly effect.

3. No rotation inertia makes long rifles feel weightless and robs the game of close quarters/long range trade off balance. Different attachments used to affect this, CQB buttstock had higher sway and recoil but turned tightly. MP buttstock turned slow but had lower vertical recoil.

2. Stocks and grips are meaningless and that's a let down. Easy interesting ideas: Folding stocks shorten item size, static stocks ease recoil/sway, solid handguards lessen sight misalignment but rail handguards could take foregrips. It's so easy to think of ways to make existing attachments better.

1. Sway/hold breath is boring being tied 1:1 with stamina, downgrade from ARMA/alpha gradual breath/sway system. Previously sprinting increased fatigue over minutes, rest recovered. Fatigue level multiplied sway/recoil. Currently, from full sprint, player can hold breath and be perfectly on target.

What res is your sat and height map and what resolution did you set your sat per px? Just looks like it's interpreting the sat as smaller, so likely mismatched ratios
