I'm sure many of you have heard by now that earlier this week, IU k*lled the print edition of its student paper, the IDS. The issue that was supposed to print this week contained criticism of the Whitten regime and IUs further slide into scist control, and they couldn't allow that to happen during Homecoming, when all the rich alumni are in town.
Enter Purdue! The Purdue student paper, The Exponent, owns its own presses. Yesterday, in an act of tremendous solidarity with their biggest rival school, they printed the forbidden issue of the IDS. They then drove it to Bloomington overnight and stocked all of the IDS boxes on campus, just in time for Homecoming.
Solidarity is what makes us stronger, and solidarity will be what ultimately allows us to triumph, if we can ever truly get it together. I hope everyone has a fun, safe day if they're going out today, and I hope we can think about what acts of solidarity we can begin taking to really make this movement MOVE - beyond a permitted expression of upset into more active resistance.

Purdue to the rescue of IU student newspaper, whose institution was attempting censorship. Details in alt!

First the Trump regime fired 1,300 CDC workers. Then it rehired about half of them.

Those who remain fired include key officials working on injury and violence prevention and crucial health statistics.

This hurts federal workers and puts us all at risk in a public health emergency.

Anyone here bothered by the fact that this regime has given QATAR, a China ally and regime governed by Sharia law, a military base on U.S. soil?

Is it just me, or does it seem the press is actually and completely terrified to report about Donald Trump's physical and mental health the way it would have if anyone else were president?

DEMAND THAT REPUBLICAN SENATORS PROTECT HEALTHCARE & END THE SHUTDOWN With historic healthcare cuts and cost increases looming, Republicans chose to force a Trump Shutdown rather than address the healthcare crisis or rein in Trump’s lawless manipulation of federal funds...

Trump's massive raid on the Hyundai plant in Georgia is huge news all around the world. But in the US it's barely even reported, much less discussed and explained. Something fundamentally wrong with US media.

This should be bigger news.

This has to stop. Has to.

RFK's phony study into autism isn't just an assault on science β€” it's a war on children's health The head of this "research" is no doctor β€”Β and has a history of torturing kids with fake autism "cures"

RFK's pledge to find "what caused the autism epidemic" in a few short months is a transparent lie, to cover a preordained conclusion.

But digging deeper, it gets much worse: it's about justifying a downright sadistic assault on children's health.

Reddit is flooded with small businesses owners getting crushed by tariffs β€” devastated by the thought of raising prices, firing workers, or closing up shop entirely.

Ohio politicians support forced birth, not the children already here. "The state ranks 44th in the country for child food insecurity, 43rd in infant mortality . . . , 42nd in access to Early Head Start programs, 40th in young child poverty up to age five, and 30th in reports of infant maltreatment."

The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

Funny. Not so funny.

It is a complete endrun around national security channels to use an insecure device and app to discuss highly classified, imminent military plans.

At what point do leaders in the GOP band together (since they seem to lack courage individually) & say enough is enough? The party of Reagan becomes the tool of Putin if they don’t, especially after last night.

He's never worked a day in government.

Yet he gets to decide what is wasteful and what is fraud?

Is a program that provides lifesaving medications to our impoverished allies "wasteful"?

Is one that feeds starving kids "fraud"?

He decides. An unelected oligarch decides our values.

RFK Jr. is not fit to lead the Department of Health and Human Services! Did you know RFK Jr. wanted to stop infectious disease drug development and research for 8 years? He supports defunding lifesaving research that is used to develop treatments and cures for diseases. [...

- MLK Day
- Juneteenth
