This is highly important for Americans. The Fed is highly independent and has teeth. This isn't just about art, either, but speech in general. Please comment if you can, and leave your information on your comment if you're willing. They are likely to listen if enough public support shows itself.
The only hardline is whether someone is *actually* hurting someone else irl. Feeling grossed out/offended is not the same as getting hurt and assuming someone is dangerous from the fiction they consume is cop shit. Thought Crimes are a fascist concept, censorship is a tool of oppression.

I've done a lot of lobbying and a lot of activism. It seems stupid, it seems pointless, it seems ineffectual, but phone calls are one of the few things that legislative offices really pay attention to as a barometer for public opinion.
Call early and call often.
I know calling reps is very nerve racking. You're not sure what's the right thing to say, and tbh having a script thrown at me makes things just as nerve racking.
I called today, and I figured I'd write up a transcript of how my call went down. Hopefully it helps demystify the process
