If 25% of my income goes to taxes, 25% of billionaire’s incomes should go to taxes. I believe in social safety nets. I believe in common decency.

I believe people willing to illegally cross the board to do the jobs Americans think are beneath them should be protected. I believe in globalization and lifting up nations that will advance by doing the jobs Americans think are beneath them. I believe in fair taxes to all.

I believe the pro-life movement is misguided in that they advocate hard on abortion (to the detriment of women who have unviable pregnancies and are now dying due to Dobbs) and absolutely drop the ball on children in poverty. I believe healthcare is a right.

I believe we should have a society that does not hate. I believe all of us should be able to survive regardless our chosen professions. I believe we, as Americans, have lost our way and are letting incel men take over our country. (More…)

I guess it’s time to make my first post. I am a childless cat lady who is living life with a much older husband with dementia. I work full time. I care and advocate for him (for better or for worse). I’m a woman in IT who can’t catch a break. (More to come in comments)
