Part of my writing process involves white boards. I use them to jot down thoughts/impressions/bits of lore to keep in mind over the coming days as I write/edit. And I display them on the wall so that I can read them shortly after waking up, before I go to bed and a few times during the day. #writing
It'll never stop making me feel insane that writers are made to feel crazy for appropriately valuing their craft while guys who haven't written an email on their own in three years are painting themselves as essential to the future

Sorry it took me so long to respond to this. Finished the book!!
I think I'm going to work on a side project for a week or two just to give myself a break from the world I've been in for 2.5 years. Something contemporary and light in comparison to the fantasy. I have a few ideas bouncing around!
It's a mixture at this point. Excited because it means I can finally start on Book 2. Emotional because I see how far I've come since I started the project. My characters have come a long way, their progression has left me stunned. And I've grown a lot as a writer in the meantime. <3
