I don’t own either. Have slept naked for more than 45 yrs, and I only swim naked. This means I only swim in the ocean or rivers and not all year round. Swimwear is pointless. it provides little or no modesty, especially when wet, yet people spend billions every year to conform to a futile norm.

Not only the best way to swim, but the only way to swim, in my opinion.

There were a couple of guys lurking in the dunes, but not much else going on. I guess a Monday evening is not the most popular time for many.

It was 31 degrees yesterday and 26 this evening, figured it was time enough.

First skinny dip of the season down at Papamoa beach. Was the only naturist on the beach, but that wasn’t going to stop me getting into the water.

Weekend garden project completed. Took a useless piece of dirt and turned it into a low maintenance area and a place to keep some of the increasing number of plant pots we seem to be accumulating. Sense of achievement is currently justifying doing nothing for the rest of day.

I think the photo is real. Personally, I prefer real images to those that are manipulated or curated to an unrealistic level.

I've slept naked for over 40 years, couldn't imaging sleeping any other way.

Not a bad idea, only problem is that I don’t really enjoy housework or decorating. But it might be a plan B.

Week 3 after quitting my day job. I had better hurry up and find another one, the planning committee is starting to come up with chores that need doing around the house. At least the dress code here is more relaxed than at most workplaces. Naturism has the best outfits for home decorating.

Met up with some people from the Hastings Beginners Photo Quest to try Astro Photography, but the cloud conspired against us. Making the best of the poor conditions, a bit of trial and error, some lessons learned and a whole lot of laughter with a great group of people I now consider friends.

Headed down to Hawke’s Bay to help a friend deliver a photography class. Managed to get out and take a few pictures.

Nudism/Naturism is serenity

25% is a good hit rate. I’m around 15 and maybe 20 on a good day.

And how many keepers? So many of the shots we take end up on the cutting room floor.

I do the local Parkrun photos, and even with a quick edit it can still take about 4 hours to sort, adjust, resize and post the images

The joy of photography, the editing and worrying over the slightest detail or adjustments that no one else is likely to notice. People think it’s just point and click. Photographers spend hours in front of computer screens.

There are plenty of sites by nudists, for nudists, and we should all support them, but none have the immediacy or ease of use of the big social platforms.

You say you really want to write. As a blogger, my advice to you is to write. It doesn't matter if you share or not. If you decide to share, you may be surprised by how many people read it. If you don't share, then at least you will have done the thing you want to do.

I prefer the B&W, but I would crop it differently, giving more space in front of the model. Just my opinion.

When you have nothing to wear, wearing nothing should be a perfectly valid clothing choice.

Well it has New Zealand and Australia the wrong way around. It is not illegal to be naked in New Zealand, but it is in some parts of Australia. I suggest it’s not very well researched.

I am just re-reading the HHG books, just finished the restaurant at the end of the universe. This is my favourite theory of evolution, that we are descended from the useless section of another society, which crash landed on our planet and displaced the original inhabitants. It explains so much.
