Hiromu Shinozuka's Ciao manga "Mirumo de Pon" is coming back for one more romp.

The series will return in Ciao issue 4, now titled "Mirumo de Pon New." It originally ran in the magazine from August 3, 2001, to December 1, 2005 and had a 172-episode anime from 2002 to 2005.

Every time someone is like "Okay yeah, we used AI for this whole thing, but we totally spent a bazillion years combing over the results to Human-ify them afterwards!", they're just lying. That's just a lie. You can assume it's always a lie, and you will always be correct. Give not an inch.

"I hope you die" is weak. "I hope that obscure Japanese-only game you wanna play gets a fan translation done entirely by ChatGPT" is way more hurtful. It's real. It could happen to anyone.

Japan is a notoriously difficult country to get sexual assault crime convictions for which means when courts have actually agreed with a victim, you can assume it’s going to be extremely revolting.

Seems like the MangaOne/Shougakukan news is starting to get noticed in English, and quick content warning, the contents of the sexual abuse that the manga artist in question committed are really disgusting and you do not need to read them.

Only caveat is I don’t think we needed the bath scenes to be so… visible 😩

My cat Lucina from a month or so ago. She's laying on an empty pizza box. Isn't she a cutie?

A picture of Lucina I took a few minutes ago. She is laying in her cat carrier and looks pretty sickly. Even as I'm typing this, she still can't bring herself to come out.

Lucina's emergency vet visit cost us $1031.09. She's worth every penny of it, but still. 🫠
