We are all feeling the squeeze as the price of food continues to climb higher and higher. The stark reality? The cost-of-living situation for many people in our community is already dire. And as grocery prices go up, more people go hungry.

Our food bank relies on the compassion and commitment of our volunteers to help sort donations, stock shelves, assist shoppers, and more. And with some of our volunteers headed back to school, we have shifts that will need to be filled soon!

The purchase was fully funded through a capital campaign, and would not have been possible without generous donors in our community!

After some fresh paint and new carpet, we will be moving in this summer.

With more space, we can do more good work! 🏠 EFAA purchased the 1,750 square-foot second half of the duplex building we already own. The additional space allows us to support our expanded Economic Empowerment program, as well as workspace for EFAA’s core activities as demand for services grows.

We just finished our fiscal year, and we want to extend an enormous thank you to our dedicated Committee and Board Members. Your tireless efforts, unwavering commitment, and many volunteer hours throughout the past year have been essential to our ability to serve our community.
