I like @proton.me stuff, but not a fan of showing "50%" off when you compare your price of 1 month at regular price vs 12 month price + promo. It would be the same as if groceries would say 75%* off of 12 can of soda..

Never fully trust corp. They have their best interest in mind, not yours. That doesn't mean to not work for them, but just to be aware to not being catch off guard!

I can relate, I was asking for 3 days a week at my last job to not burnout and take care of kids, they "accepted" but with conditions that they knew wouldn't be possible for me, so had to quit. Never trust corp with "big familly", it's all a lie :)

Or at least, ask the AI for already proven solution to a problem instead of relying on it to do a sometime sloppy job

Since you're in Montreal, have you tried to see if the OPC can help you out a bit? 3months+ is ridiculous to solve an issue.. it's not all good all the time, but the legal warranties that we have here make it possible to go beyound the "advertised" one that company offert :)

I love what valve is doing in general, but their gambling issue should have been address years ago (still not off course). Would be curious to see how much $$ they benifit from those markets

Yeah.. they could make it more expensive and have the option to self host the data + a local LLM. Basically an audio recorder that auto upload to a NAS and process analysis only on demand (or the option to choose if all days are analyzed)

The base idea is good, but I don't like it.. it set a bad precendant when AI is NOT ready to deal with complex this like this..

Don't get me wrong, AI is nice and should stay. But it's a tool.. currently if feel DEV are the tool and AI is the main coder.. it should be the other way around.

I've look at the definition of the words, and even that is confusing as depending on where you look, they do not agree 100% on if we update or upgrade a software version haha. Language is confusing sometime I guess :)

Maybe I'm just used to it, I don't know 🤷‍♂️. But for the new user, doesn't the App Center and the Software updater does all that in a GUI ? But I guess you're right that it would be nice.
