We're (almost) back! I've gotten things sorted out enough at this point that I'm actually confident I'll be able to stream again this week - not quite Tuesday like I was hoping but Thursday works just as well!

It's been kinda crazy lately - but I'm looking forward to streaming again! ❤️

Working through things standing between me and being able to realistically stream again one thing at a time! I've solved the internet problem, now I need to handle an acoustics problem since the echo in this room is _crazy_ and I also don't want to annoy neighbors... but the solution is in the mail!

It'll ask... and then ignore your "don't update" and update anyways and apparently break your entire computer... fun times!
I wish I could get away with not having any windows computer, but some of the software I need is windows-only and I can't get it to run on mac or linux 😭

Yeah, I think it downloaded and tried to install that update automatically and without asking me, which is really annoying given I also can't realistically take this laptop back to the store that the warranty is still valid at, either
Worst case I track down a win11 installer and do a fresh install

And, of course, after recovering my computer by rolling back to what _should_ have been a snapshot... apparently the update did something and now my keyboard is broken 😭😭😭

Ah yes, my Windows computer decided to auto-update and somehow wind up in a corrupted state that needs my bitlocker recovery key... a key which I don't know since I didn't even realize bitlocker was set up!

Still working on getting back to a point I can stream... I have an internet technician scheduled for around a week from now to _hopefully_ take care of the last thing I need before I can do another stream :D

Hey, just wanted to let everybody know that no, I'm not dead (even if I kinda vanished the last week). I've just been unreasonably busy with moving and haven't really had... any free time lately. Hopefully I have some free time soon!

I tend to over analyze stuff, and it leads to analysis paralysis a lot of the time. I've spent the last couple of weeks running around like a headless chicken, and I'm finally starting to realize that... maybe it's okay to not have everything figured out. Sometimes, you've just gotta... do something

I was pulled aside by TSA when I was in high school because of one of my textbooks. There's all sorts of funny things they'll check!

I have the same experience whenever I need to work on a computer, I think my hands are pretty steady, then I need to use a screwdriver on one of those tiny screws in my computer (or something like that)
