After years of organizing, advocacy, and public pressure, we’re celebrating a massive step forward in protecting one of the most precious ecosystems in the country.
Thomasville, GA lost a nearly $20M EPA grant when it needed it most.
This grant would have fixed sewer systems, upgraded homes, and built a community resilience hub and health clinic. Now, it’s gone, terminated by an EPA policy shift on May 1st.
We have an important election coming up on November 4th! Two seats on the Public Service Commission (PSC) are up for election. The PSC is responsible for regulating utility rates, so if you care about your power bill, it is essential to vote in this election.
